As we are sure you are aware by now, the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) virus is spreading rapidly across the UK. The government moved the UK in to the ‘delay’ phase as it can no longer be contained. This is a growing concern to public health and as a responsible events company, we need to take action to try to protect our guests, our selves from the virus and reduce the possibility of the virus spreading any further.
It is based on the current situation that we have worked with our insurers and the latest business advice from the government, the government announced that they discourage any form of social gatherings during the lockdown period and we are classed as non essential, based on the current advice we have made the decision to postpone events to maintain the safety of our guests and our team as this is priority. We are currently in contact with the venue owners and a large number of our locations are closed down due to current guidelines meaning our events are unable to go ahead.
So far we have postponed events up to Mid May, We will be monitoring the the situation and we willfollow advice from the government to make our decision for events past mid May in the coming week.
If you are booked on to one of our events which falls into the postponement category you will be contacted by our team via email in due course, (if you haven’t already been contacted).
What happens next? Will I receive a refund?
For guests that are booked onto an event that has been postponed you will receive a credit note for the full amount paid ( we have extended the expiry on all credit notes/ vouchers now valid for 2 years from the date of issue). No cash refunds will be provided during these extreme circumstances at this time. Please refer to original terms and conditions which were agreed to before you placed your booking https://theothersideparanormalgroup.com/terms-conditions
We have also stopped any further bookings form being placed via our website to minimise disruption, we will enable booking again once government allows such events to go ahead again.
You can still browse our locations and register your interest by clicking the ghost hunts tab in the top right corner of this page.
The challenges that our team have been faced with recently have been difficult the decisions we have made have not been easy, but we have acted accordingly to protect our guests and our team which has been our main priority, the decisions we have reached have been to enable us to continue to provide events when the current pandemic is over.
